Hmmmm… should i choose imagery to fit my type or opacity bg?

As of now Im in favor of using appropriate images. I just found that the rgb then opacity method of css Im using isn’t showing up im my IE testing environment and the other method I know renders the entire content area as the opacity I choose. bleh! Anyway I like the way the text only looks agaist some of the photos. Reminds me of what I liked in the Cigarett site.
